Parallon Business Solutions is seeking a work-at-home public benefits coordinator in the East Florida area. You will be interviewing and assessing uninsured/underinsured patients with eligibility for Medicaid or Social Security Disability on an “as needed” basis.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. You must also have at least two years of experience communicating with patients or customers regarding financial issues. Experience in financial eligibility is preferred.
Additional Requirements (from job listing):
- Knowledge of state and federal assistance program requirements preferred.
- Experience interacting with local Social Services personnel or departments.
- Strong effective communication skills; verbal, written and negotiating skills.
- Bilingual/Spanish preferred (may be required depending on facility).

- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to anticipate problems and work effectively to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literate
