WESTAT Hiring Work at Home Daytime Phone Data Collectors

WESTAT is currently hiring experienced work at home daytime phone data collectors in the United States. You must be willing and able to work 15 to 40 hours per week, during the following times: M-F 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST  and Sat. 10:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, Sun. 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST.

You will be collecting data over the phone on a variety of subjects, including education, the environment, health, and transportation.

Qualifications (from work-at-home job listing):

  • have at least one year of experience in phone data collection, phone customer service or research
  • be 18 or older
  • have a reliable Windows-based (Windows 7 or later) PC computer, and ability to upgrade as security and operational requirements change.
  • regular in-home access to a printer
  • a wired high speed Internet connection (cable, DSL or fiber optic only) with a minimum of 5 mbps download speed
  • must be hard-wired with ethernet cable connection during working hours. Use of wireless routers, WIFI, not permitted
  • anti-virus and anti-spyware software with current and updated virus definitions
  • Internet Explorer (IE) – most current non-beta version
  • up-to-date Shockwave and Acrobat Reader software (can be downloaded for free)
  • analog land line phone service
  • A quiet and secure home office
