Work at Home: Major Gifts Officer with Manhattan Nonprofit

A humanitarian nonprofit organization in Manhattan is seeking a home-based major gifts officer. This is a full-time, long-term temp opportunity paying an initial rate of approximately $31 per hour.

A bachelor’s degree and five to ten years of related experience is required.  You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you must be able to multitask proficiently.  Additionally, you must also have experience with MS Office and fundraising database systems.

Finally, you must have five to seven years of successful experience in major or planned gift fundraising, preferably in higher education, and you must be capable of understanding the interests and needs of leadership and major donors, in order to successfully facilitate the development of relationships. Cold calling experience is required.
