WESTAT is currently hiring work at home phone data collectors for an upcoming study. These jobs appear to be available throughout the U.S. You must be able to work 15 to 40 hours per week.
Hours are primarily in the evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST, late evenings 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EST, and on weekends. There are no daytime hours available.
You must be able to pass a background screening prior to employment, as well as be willing to submit to and pass a federal-level security clearance.
Requirements (from work at home employment listing):
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in telephone data collection or research
- Be 18 or older
- Provide a voice sample
- Have reliable Windows-based computer and printer (Apple/Mac not compatible)
- Have subscription to a dependable, high speed Internet service provider,
- Have a web camera with video and audio functionality and ability to obtain a Skype account,
- Have the ability to be on the Internet (cable or DSL) and an analog land-line (corded) telephone at the same time
- Have strong computer skills
- Have the ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week – primarily late evening and/or weekend hours.
You will be asking study participants questions on a variety of topics. Examples: education, the environment, health, and transportation. You must have a clear speaking voice.
