Education, Travel & Culture hires home-based local coordinators to work with exchange students, local high schools, and host families on an independent contractor basis. These are flexible part-time positions. You set your own schedule!
These positions provide supplemental income only. But the work is rewarding and family-friendly! Hours are generally 10 to 20 per week.

In this home-based position, you will be involved in the recruitment of families to host exchange students from other countries for a semester or a whole school year. As a local ETC coordinator, you will be responsible for visiting each host family and student on a regular basis to track the student’s progress and assist both the student and host family with the adjustment process.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license
- Full use of a car
- Experience in conflict resolution
- A flexible schedule
- A strong desire to learn about other cultures
You will also be responsible for monitoring the academic progress of exchange students and providing assistance when necessary.
Home-based local coordinators earn $550 to $1,100 per student placed, which will be paid in increments while the student is in the placement.
