StenoMed, Inc. hires work-at-home medical transcriptionists on a 1099 basis. You must have extensive knowledge of terminology, anatomy, physiology, procedures, and treatment. You must also be adept at transcribing dictators with accents and audio with background noise, as well as rewording material to make it more clear, without changing its intended meaning.
Additionally, you must have excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation abilities, and be knowledgeable with regard to document formatting. General computer experience is a must. You must have a PC with Windows 98 or higher.
