A growing transcription firm is seeking work-at-home general/police/legal transcript editors to join its team. The right candidate will have experience editing raw transcripts against audio with 100% accuracy, knowledge of legal and police terminology, and experience utilizing MS Word, Powerpoint, an audio player like ExpressScribe, FOR THE RECORD, and a spellchecker.
A foot pedal is helpful, but is not required. This is a part-time to full-time freelance position. Normal business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. The company particularly has a need for evening and morning editors, as well as the occasional weekend. You must be able to deliver your work on a same day turnaround.
