Jones Networking is seeking a work-at-home, part-time patent prosecution paralegal. This position will be Monday through Friday, four hours per day, during business hours. You will be assisting a partner (who also telecommutes from home) with all aspects of corporate patent prosecution.
Specifically, you will be docketing and managing all incoming legal communications, as well as managing a reminder system and an organized electronic filing system.
You will also be helping with patent prosecution records and documents, maintaining and updating databases, and interacting with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence.
Qualifications (from employment listing):
- Paralegal Certificate or Degree preferred
- Minimum three years patent prosecution experience
- Proficiency in USPTO Electronic Filing System (EFS)
- Experience with FoundationIP an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
