OptumHealth is seeking a work-at-home
privacy manager to assist in complying with state and federal privacy laws. A Bachelor’s degree is required. A post-graduate degree is preferred.
You must have five or more years of experience in a regulatory compliance role, preferably in the healthcare industry. Experience in a supervisory role is a plus. You must also have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of privacy/data security laws and issues, either in a direct care or operational setting.
Finally, you must have a thorough understanding of the investigation cycle, to include cause analysis, mitigation, employee sanction, and corrective action. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are a must.
The right candidate will have superior problem solving skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and succeed in a large organization.
