Ancestry.com is seeking a work at home historical episode writer on a temporary basis. In this remote position, you will work with the content editor to create 20 to 40 brief (10 to 150-word) episodes and captions each month based on historical events.

This position appears to be available throughout the U.S. Compensation is $75.00 per episode.

Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

•Prefer degree in communications, journalism, English, history or related field, or equivalent professional writing experience.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong internet and research skills.

•Ability to plan and organize.

•Attention to detail and accuracy.

•Self-starter with the desire and energy to achieve goals.

•Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

•Background in history or family history helpful.
