* Experience in proofreading content for spelling and grammatical errors and factual inaccuracies.
* Chicago, AP, and/or AMA style guide expertise
* Knowledge of proofreading symbols and terminology
* Proficient in production proofing for design errors/consistency in content
* Expert knowledge of technology and software, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word
* 3+ years proofreading/editing experience is preferred
* Excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
* The ability to prioritize and consistently meet tight deadlines, and a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis,
* Proven success in multi-tasking, and working well under pressure
