SeatGeek is seeking a reliable, experienced freelance content writer in New York. This is a work at home position. You will be expected to produce four to six 200-word news blurbs a week related to tour date announcements, tour rumors, and show and festival announcements.
You must be familiar with basic SEO practices like hyperlinking and writing search-friendly headers.
Assignments will be written in WordPress and will have a 24-hour turnaround time from assignment to completion. For example, if an assignment is made on Monday afternoon, it should be drafted into WP for review on Tuesday afternoon.
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- Must live in the New York metropolitan area
- Very basic HTML skills
- WordPress blogging experience
- Knowledge and/or interest in music
- Ability to do light research on an artist in order to write a compelling and factual article
Compensation is $20 per article, plus bonuses based on traffic.
