  • Great communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise emails is a must.
  • A can-do, “get it done” attitude. No problem is too big or too small!
  • Administrative and organizational skills. Do you know how to work Google Calendar like a boss?
  • The ability to manage complex projects and hit deadlines. Multitasking FTW.
  • A self-manager, self-starter and self-taught orientation.
  • Strong research/fact-checking skills.
  • Strong writing skills. (Which reminds us: Do you have great clips? Send them our way!)
  • A deep understanding of social media. If you have a great Twitter feed or well-curated Tumblr with a dedicated following, that’s a great thing.
  • An obsession with finding stories in the hottest (and most unknown) places on the interwebs.
  • You care passionately about the world and want to make it a better place.
