Women’s Voices for Change, a magazine-style site for women over 40, is seeking an experienced work-at-home editor. This is a 1099 position of approximately 25 hours per week. You must have a bachelor’s degree in journalism or similar area and a minimum of ten years of journalism experience, mostly in the digital realm.
You must also be savvy about the technical aspects of digital publishing, social media, and current trends, and be able to work as part of a team. You must also have a passion for issues of interest to women over 40.
Finally, you must be an organized multitasker with excellent time management skills, and you must be able to perform in a home-based environment. Superior communication, interpersonal, and judgment abilities are a must, as is a sense of humor.
