Work-at-Home: Community and Social Media Manager Job

A Northern Virginia interactive marketing company is seeking an energetic, creative, and strategic work-at-home community manager to grow its clients’ communities through social networking.  This is a freelance position. The number of hours and pay will be determined per project.

You must have experience in social media and networking, and you must be able to provide examples of past community initiative success.  You will be acting as the primary ambassador for the company’s clients.

You will also be responding to and moderating comments, discussions, and inquiries, and launching giveaways, contests, and more.  You will be responsible for developing and executing Web campaigns and analyzing the results.

You must have community building and management experience, excellent written communication abilities, and be an active social media participant, tracking and staying on top of its evolution. Finally, you must be a detail-oriented multitasker willing to take ownership of your results.
