Convergys Hiring Work at Home Agents in Multiple States

Convergys is again hiring work at home customer service and sales agents in various U.S. states.  The company is currently hiring in North Carolina, Arizona, Utah, Kansas, and Pennsylvania.

You will be assisting PayPal customers via inbound phone and email, helping them to resolve account problems.

You must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years old.

Further Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

  •  6-12 months experience in a customer support environment is preferred.
  •  Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  •  Ability to function in multiple telephone and email queues covering several product lines.
  •  Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies.
  •  Ability to communicate effectively via phone by utilizing active listening and clearly speaking to customer.
  •  Ability to communicate effectively via email transmission by utilizing proper grammar and punctuation skills.
  •  Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through.
  •  Ability to make discretionary decisions based on research or customer history/total payment volume. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.
  •  Maintain acceptable levels of discretion, teamwork and commitment, endeavoring to exceed expectations in all.
  •  Maintain and promote a positive attitude while meeting productivity goals.
  •  Willingness to rotate shifts, as needed.
  •  Ability to learn and develop new skills from various training methods, and implement in short timeframes.
  •  Courteous with strong customer service orientation.
  •  Dependable with proficient attention to detail.
  •  Good listening and responding skills.
  •  Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers; technical knowledge sufficient to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Self-motivated, reliable & hard working; able to adapt to fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Ability to work schedules during all hours of operation.
  • Stable work history.
