Surpass Software is hiring home-based customer support reps in the U.S. Training for these home-based positions is paid. Surpass provides affordable library management software for all types of libraries.
Compensation during training (3 to 6 months) is $17 an hour – then up to $20 per hour with proficiency.

“Surpass Software Support Representatives answer users’ questions, troubleshoot problems and, in general, help users get the most from their software. Help is provided by email, telephone, and web chat, and sometimes involves remote control of users’ computers. Other duties might include developing and updating documentation, knowledgebase articles, video tutorials, and conducting live webinars.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
- Understanding of network/server concepts in Windows (network shares, user administration, etc.)
- Ability to keep your own computer up and running smoothly for 100% of business hours
- Proficiency in iOS and/or Android environments

These are full-time home-based customer support positions. Standard business hours are currently Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. But you may be asked to occasionally work outside of these hours to meet customer need.
All home-based customer support reps must have a quiet, distraction-free home office.

“Employees are responsible for providing their own computer (Windows 10) and broadband Internet connection. A web cam and microphone are required for occasional video staff meetings. Surpass Software provides a computer-based VoIP telephone connection or an Ethernet connected VoIP telephone but some employees prefer to have incoming calls routed to their personal land-line or cell phones. Surpass Software provides all required software such as Microsoft Office.”
