Mommy Poppins Long Island, a popular blog for parents, is seeking work-at-home writers on Long Island. The site is written by local parents who are knowledgeable about the best kids’ activities in the area.
These are freelance, contract jobs. Compensation is $25 per post. The site publishes roundups and reviews. Roundups are 5 to 10 activities on one theme. Reviews cover a personal experience of an activity, performance, or venue. Posts may be any length, but are generally 300 to 700 words.
If interested in applying to contribute to the site, Please create two sample posts that you feel would be appropriate to the site. If a sample post is published, you will be compensated.
Please do not submit a resume. Instead, please provide a very brief bio indicating where you live, how many children you have, and their ages. Also, please indicate what your experience is beyond parenting, and if you are currently contributing to any publications (or have in the past).
