Someone is seeking an Associate Assignments Editor for a freelance 1099 position. You will be sorting through news leads, reviewing them, and coding them for the staff. You make your own schedule. Compensation is $10 per hour.
You must be detail oriented, patient, and able to think quickly. Prior journalism experience is a must. Additionally, you must be comfortable with computers, and you must be organized.
This position requires some flexibility and requires you be willing to work with the team and the public. You must have continual, reliable computer access and Skype, and be familiar with Google and Gmail.
