A growing medical editing department is seeking freelance medical transcript editors to join its team. You must have experience editing raw transcripts against audio for 100% accuracy. Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology is also required.
Experience utilizing MS Word, PowerPoint, an audio player like Express Scribe, and a medical spellchecker are also required. If you own a foot pedal, it is a plus.
This is a part-time to full time work at home position. Normal business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. The company has an immediate need for evening and early morning editors, as well as the occasional weekend. You must be able to deliver work on a same-day turnaround.
