Sunlark hires work-at-home court researchers from across the U.S. to gather information from public records (requires traveling to the courthouse). You will most often be picking out very basic information, such as names and addresses, then entering that information into a database or spreadsheet, according to the needs of the client.
The amount of work available depends upon the county assigned. Very small counties, with less than 10,000 residents, may only provide one hour of week per month. A very large county, with over 1 million in population, can often provide 30 to 40 hours per week, and might even require a team.
You will be your own boss. Compensation is competitive, and the hours are flexible. These are independent contractor positions.
