Great VirtualWorks is seeking work at home inbound sales and customer service people in most U.S. states.  This is an independent contractor home business opportunity. “Great VirtualWork’s sister company Great HealthWorks is A+ rated by the BBB,” according to the company’s website.

You will work from your own home office taking inbound calls only.  All work and training is done via the Internet. You must be a fast learner and Internet savvy.

You will establish your own schedule.  Compensation is $10 per hour, with an up to 4% incentive per closed sale. Hours available for scheduling are 24/7, but you must work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with at least 5 of those hours falling on the weekend.

Requirements (from work-at-home employment listing):

  • Quiet work space, noise-cancelling headset, hard-wired Internet connection
  • Background check (criminal only)
  • Pass certification class
  • PC that meets the minimum requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

This opportunity is not available in the following states: Massachusetts, Maryland, California, Connecticut, New York, and Oregon.

I did a search on the Internet and read what some current and former partners of Great Virtualworks are saying about the company on various work at home forums.  I did not find anything negative.  It appears they are a good company to partner with.

I believe this opportunity to be similar to opportunities such as Arise.  The company’s F.A.Q. says that:

“Great VirtualWorks charges an administration fee of $8.95 every service fee cycle. All Independent Contractors who wish to partner with us must pass a background check ($45 fee)… This non-refundable fee is paid to the background company. In addition, all independent businesses pay for their own certification.”

Again, these are independent contractor opportunities.  Please do your own due diligence.
