Measurement Inc. hires work at home readers/evaluators from across the U.S. to score essays, test items, and performance assessments based on an established scoring criteria.
The company does provide paid training for its scorers. You will be scoring tests and assessments from students across the U.S. at many different grade levels. New training is conducted at the beginning of each project. All scorers must maintain confidentiality and protect project security.
Requirements (from home-based employment listing):
- Proof of a bachelor’s degree, any field
- Ability to perform adequately on the placement assessment
- Completion of a successful interview
- Professional references
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Access to a home computer, high speed Internet, and a work area that can be secured
Hours and pay vary by project. But you are expected to work Monday through Friday during and for the duration of an accepted project. Attendance during training is mandatory.
This is temporary project-by-project work, and it is seasonal. The greatest need is January through June, then again in September through December.
