Tasting Table, a daily email newsletter devoted to the best of food and drink culture, is seeking a work-at-home freelance graphic designer. You will be working on the company’s digital and print projects on a 1099 basis.
The ideal candidate will understand Tasting Table’s style. You must be able to take verbal and written design direction, and you must be flexible and capable of working as part of a team. You may be located anywhere, but you must be on Eastern Standard Time for effective collaboration.
You must have extensive experience with Adobe CS 4 or 5 Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), web technologies, HTML, and CSS. Experience with JQUERY, Javascript, and PHP is a definite plus. You must also have extensive knowledge of information architecture and a strong sense of design, layout, typography, and branding.
