Via Captions, a subsidiary of VITAC, is seeking work at home general transcriptionists in the United States. These are independent contractor positions.
Work at home transcriptionists will be paid per audio minute. Payment is weekly via PayPal.

The more audio minutes you transcribe, the more you earn. Compensation rate is not mentioned. This may be a great entry-level general transcription opportunity.
The company has its own Internet-based transcription tool which allows work at home employees to produce a large volume of work in less time. For example, you won’t be required to name reports or manually upload or download files.
