Blueprint Summer Programs is seeking a work at home event and activity coordinator in the U.S. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. It is also entry-level. You will report to the director of program production and management.
Job Responsibilities (from work-at-home employment listing):
“Reporting directly to the head of our Programs Department in this newly created position, you will be a major contributor to the continued success of our organization. In this role, you will execute year round coordination and implementation of events and activities at our seasonal summer programs in multiple locations.”
Requirements (from listing):
- Some experience in program management or event management; summer camp experience and/or higher education experience a plus
- Bachelor degree in hospitality, event management or related discipline required; may substitute relevant experience for a degree
- CMP or other relevant license/certification is a plus
- Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with campus liaisons, vendors, and all levels of management and staff
- A history of exceeding goals in guest/client satisfaction, profits, and cost management, with measurable and proven results
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational, partnering and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to problem-solve and optimize operating procedures
- Ability to give effective feedback and share creative and new ideas
- Ability to “create a memorable experience” out of the day-to-day moments; to turn the ordinary into extraordinary
