Epicstream is seeking a home-based list and quiz writer for its fantasy and science fiction news and entertainment website. All candidates for this home-based position must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Compensation for this freelance opportunity is $12.50 per hour. Bonus pay is available for content that performs well on the website.

Qualifications (from work-at-home job listing):
- Above all else, we are looking for someone who loves Fantasy and Science Fiction
- Strong writing/editing skills
- Confidence and efficiency in work
- Can consistently meet deadlines and deliver high quality results
- The ability to research and write about a variety of topics creatively with authority is a must
- The ability to take feedback constructively, and communicate ideas to the editor openly and effectively
- Must have access to a computer with reliable internet access
- Able to work 40 hours per week as an independent contractor for a 3-month term (2-week trial period), with a high probability of extension
- One year of professional writing experience (paid)
This is a contract home-based position. Candidates will be required to provide a resume and examples of published writing.
The right candidate for this freelance writing position will be self-motivated and passionate about fantasy and science fiction.
