Legacy.com hires work-at-home content screeners in Illinois and Indiana to screen and proof online condolence messages. Compensation starts at $10 an hour. The primary focus of this position is to read online condolence messages before they are posted to make sure no inappropriate or offensive material appears in the guest book.
Various four-hour shifts are available. Expected hours are 20 per week.
Shifts Available:
2pm – 6pm Friday – Monday
6pm – 10pm Friday – Monday
6pm – 10pm Sunday – Thursday
6pm – 10pm Tuesday – Saturday
Requirements (from employment listing):
- A personal computer;
- High-speed Internet access (cable, DSL) in the home (Note: for speed and reliability of connection, as well as security reasons, hotspot connections and wireless routers are not acceptable).
- Must not have any conflicting responsibilities during shifts such as being the primary caregiver for a young child or an elderly person
- Residency in Illinois or Indiana only.
You must have strong written communication abilities, and you must have superior reading and decision-making skills. Additionally, you must be self-motivated, experienced in utilizing email and the Internet, and be detail-oriented.
