  • Minimum five years editorial experience writing and editing. Experience with building content in a CMS, preferably WordPress

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Interest in and knowledge of topics covered by Looper, including movies, TV, comic books, gaming, and more
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong familiarity with social media and SEO strategy
  • Managing a team of writers
  • Expertise in story selection and tone to fit the site’s unique voice
  • Use of analytics tools to understand and act upon data in editorial decision making

In this freelance work at home role, you will be performing the following functions (from listing):

  • Create and edit stories and slideshows in custom CMS
  • Pitching, planning, and production of editorial features
  • Manage team of freelance writers
  • Apply SEO, social strategies and best practices to all content
  • Write content on a quick turnaround as applicable
  • Contributing to and following the guidelines of our style guide, editorial strategy and publishing standards to uphold quality of content
