Specific Requirements (from listing):

  • Minimum 4-year degree and utmost command of the English language required.
  • Ability to write strongly within a restrictive set of format and style guidelines required.
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism required.
  • Experience with encyclopedic writing strongly preferred.
  • Experience doing thorough, efficient research preferred.

These are contract positions.  To find out more, visit the employment listing.

The Second is from SmartBrief.  The site is seeking a fill-in food and beverage/retail editor.  You will be creating daily online business and consumer news email publications in the food and beverage, as well as retail industries.  You must be available 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST.

Additionally, you must have two to five years of experience writing/editing food and beverage and/or retail news.  This is a 100 % telecommute opportunity.  If interested, see the job listing.

The Third opportunity is with Healthline.  The company is seeking freelance writers, journalists, and fact-checkers to add to its pool.  They are specifically seeking freelancers for general health content, health news, and fact-checking.  Pay is on a per-article basis and varies according to the assignment.
