Bank of the West is hiring home-based customer service professionals in the following U.S. states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, and NY.

Paid training for these home-based customer service positions starts January 24th, 2022! Compensation for this work at home opportunity starts at $15.00 per hour ($16.00 per hour for bilingual).

“Our Contact Center Representatives help prospective and existing customers with a variety of banking related questions and needs. This position needs a master multi-tasker with great attention to detail to navigate between multiple programs and systems while assisting customers. A general working knowledge of general products and services is helpful but can be taught.”

Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

  • Requires knowledge of systems, procedures, and products

  • Follows basic work routines and standards

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy


  • Understands and adheres to all training and bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role.

  • Effectively use all applicable systems, technology and software to perform job functions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, courteously and provide the customer with accurate information.

Responsibilities (from listing):

  • Effectively listen to customer requests and process transactions. Support non-English speaking customers by utilizing the Language Line process to better serve them.

  • Share information on bank products as requested by the customer

  • Help customers with account maintenance including address changes, check orders, stop payments, account closings and ATM/Debit card captures.

  • May respond to customer inquiries via email.

  • May support the customer with posting functions for debit card requests.

  • Troubleshoot customer pain points by adhering to a strict set of procedures on what we’re allowed to do and/or not do for the customer.
