Medical Audit Resource Services is seeking work-at-home inpatient/outpatient medical coders-auditors. This position can have either employee or independent contractor status.

This is a full-time opportunity, but part-time coders will be considered.

You must have your CCS, RHIT, RHIA, AAPC, or other nationally recognized certification

.  You must also have at least 3 to 5 years of hospital-based inpatient and/or coding experience.

Additionally, you must be able to work independently with 95% accuracy.

Experience with various encoders is a plus, as is previous auditing experience.  Finally, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a plus. Previous experience working remotely is also a plus.
