Terra Nova Transcription is seeking home-based medical transcriptionists in the U.S. and Canada. These medical transcription jobs are full-time independent contractor positions.
The company is specifically seeking home-based medical transcriptionists for the following schedules (in Eastern Standard Time):
- Sunday-Thursday 4 am-12 pm
- Tuesday-Saturday 4 am-12 pm
- Sunday- Thursday 12 pm-8 pm
- Tuesday- Saturday 12 pm-8 pm
- Sunday-Thursday 8 pm-4 am
- Tuesday- Saturday 8 pm-4 am
- Thursday- Monday 4 am-12 pm
- Thursday- Monday 12 pm-8 pm
- Thursday- Monday 8 pm-4 am

“We are currently seeking full-time Medical Transcriptionists. Our transcription team works from the comfort of their own home and have achieved an exceptional reputation for delivering the highest quality, on-time documentation. Our ideal candidate would be experienced in transcription and speech editing of medical record reports, with at least 1-year of recent on-the-job experience. Graduation from a certified medical transcription program is preferred.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- Ability to consistently produce accurate medical reports with a Quality Audit score of 98% or better
- Strong background in medical terminology
- Commitment to meeting minimum daily quotas and strict quality standards
- Access to high-speed internet, PC and foot pedal
- Ability to work independently
- High level of self-motivation
- Ability to pass a skills assessment
- Ability to provide proof of transcription education and/or references
You must have one year of medical transcription experience.
Hours are 30 to 39 per week.
