Dictate Express is hiring transcriptionists in the U.S. for full and part-time remote legal transcription jobs! They are also hiring editors. Night coverage is available for those seeking overnight work!

The company provides its remote employees voice recognition and FTP software (for download of audio).

Our professional transcriptionists maintain top quality standards and have a great work ethic. Dictate Express is currently seeking highly skilled legal editors to work on large legal accounts, using straight transcription and voice recognition. These positions are for production-minded, quality-focused transcriptionists.”

Requirements (from the work-at-home job listing):

  • Live within U.S. borders
  • Above average grammar, spelling, and word-use skills
  • Minimum 2 years transcription experience
  • Computer and operating system with Windows 7 or higher
  • Audio player with foot pedal
  • Above average proficiency with computer, Windows, audio player software, FTP processes, and internet use
  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work as a contractor

Pay for these remote legal transcription jobs is 65 cents per character line, including spaces. Payment will be made by direct deposit.

Remote transcriptionists are encouraged to take on a combination of transcription and editing work to maximize productivity and time.

These home-based positions are contract. The company asks all applicants to have at least one year of transcription experience (from Indeed listing). The website states two years, but they might be overloaded with work and be lowering the requirement to one year.
