About.com is constantly hiring work-at-home topic guides on a freelance basis for a variety of subject areas. You set your own schedule. You will be expected to write between six and ten articles a month (average 750 words). Compensation is competitive.
You must have strong writing ability and topic expertise, and be computer and Internet savvy. You must also have a passion about your subject. All topic guides go through a three-week evaluation period. Topic guides are paid on a monthly basis.
