Work at Home Inbound Customer Service Jobs with MedStar Health

MedStar Health is seeking full-time work-at-home seasonal customer support for a project in many U.S. states this spring. These are inbound calls.

At the end of this project, successful customer service personnel will likely be given the opportunity to transition into a telecommute reservations position. You must have some customer service experience (of any type).

Requirements (from employment listing):

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate remotely with your support groups by phone, email and instant messaging (IM); must be able to communicate well with all personality types including customers needing special care; ability to calmly handle high call volume in this fast paced position.
  • Solid computer skills including internet knowledge (such as basic searching and queries), IM, email. Must have an overall comfort level with computer usage.
  • Must be organized, self motivated, and have a distraction/noise free environment someplace in their home location (such as a private office).
  • Minimum typing speed of 20 to 30 wpm with strong accuracy.

You will be assisting members with information and billing updates on their personal membership plans.  Hours are generally 32-40 per week, Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 8:00 EST.  Training is paid.

You will be provided a computer and headset.  Compensation is $8.00 per hour, with a $250 bonus at project’s end (if performance is satisfactory and still employed with the company).
