Carlson Communications, based in Northborough, MA is seeking a work-at-home website designer with a minimum of two years of experience. This is a 1099 position. You must have expertise in the following: HTML, CSS, JQuery in all browsers, and WPress.
Additionally, you must be passionate about creating quality sites, and you must be up-to-date on the latest Web technologies. A good sense of designing style and pixel-perfect coding is required, as is a positive attitude.
Finally, you must have excellent verbal and written abilities, be organized, deadline-oriented, able to multitask, and enjoy working as part of a team. Pluses are experience with Flash/ActionScript 2 and 3, Magento as an e-commerce platform, mobile and responsive design, PHP and databases, e-newsletters (preferably MailChimp), and IA/UI/UX skills.
This position will begin on a project-by-project basis, but may expand into a much larger opportunity. The ability to visit the Northborough location periodically is desired, but is negotiable, it appears, for the right candidate.
